The law maker for Weija-Gbawe Constituency, Hon. Tina Naa Ayeley Mensah on Monday June 4th visited Weija Presby BECE centre in Weija Circuit in the newly created Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly to assess the readiness of students.
The visit by the MP who also doubles as Deputy Health Minister was to assess the readiness of students and also to encourage them to give off their maximum best in this year’s BECE.
At a general assembly, she remarked, “when you come out of the exams with flying colours, I take the glory as a mother in charge of this constituency”
She charged them not to get themselves involved in any malpractice of any kind to avoid cancellation of their papers. “when your papers are cancelled for indulging in examination malpractice, your whole life will come to a crush” she stated passionately.
Weija Presby Centre has 8 schools writing this year’s BECE at the Centre for the first time. It is the first the centre mid being used for WAEC’s examination
She toured the various examination halls to observe candidates writing the exams.
She was impressed by the general comportment of candidates and their compliance with the dictates of the examination by WAEC.
