MASLOC to kick start in Weija-Gbawe

Information gathered as at yesterday 27th of August, 2018 by hardpintonline.con indicates that all is set for MASLOC to commence this Friday 31st of August, 2018 in Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly.

This initiative is facilitated by the Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe Constituency who Deputy Health Minister-Hon. Tina Naa Ayeley Mensah.

The source states that, the roll out of the programme starts this Friday with filling of forms for onward submission to the Regional office of the MASLOC Secretariat for processing to enable beneficiaries or applicants secure microcredit to expand their business.

The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) Coordinator for the Municipality; Mr. Ishmael Kwesi Adams confirmed this in a telephone conversation with hardpointonline today Tuesday 28th day of August,2018.

According to him, the MP has worked tirelessly to secure an office space for the roll out of the programme hence all is set for the programme to kick start this Friday.

He advised all applicants to put all necessary documents together as they anticipate their support in cash or in material.

The Coordinator stressed that more emphasis will be placed on women since they are the most vulnerable in the society. He said MASLOC will supports the President’s vision to create jobs in the various MMDAs to which Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly is not an exception.

MASLOC as initiated by the NPP under President J.A. Kufuor provides micro and small loans for start-ups and small businesses with fast, easy and accessible microcredit and small loans to grow and expand their businesses as well as to enhance job and wealth creation.
